Practical Information

There is a very good bus service to Dewsbury Bus Station, then a two minutes walk across Aldams Road to The Minster.

Trains to Dewsbury, then the free Town Bus, every 10 minutes to The Minster.

Get your kicks on Route 66, lots of cycle routes in the area using old railway routes.

The Minster is located on Rishworth Road, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, WF12 8DD.

The Main Car Park entrance is to the rear, on the Link Road, opposite BM Store.
Parking in the marked spaces is preferred, then on the gravestones on the left over the double yellow lines.

Disabled spaces are available.
There is also a ‘drop off point’ at The Minster’s main entrance,
off the Vicarage Road section of Dewsbury Ring Road.
For the Festival this can only be short term drop off,
and vehicles will need to turn round to exit where they entered.
The Minster is fully accessible to the disabled with lift, ramps and disabled toilets.
